What’s the Xperia X1 after all?

Sony Ericsson’s new marvel has said to be built from HTC, atleast that’s what Engadget says, although I’m not sure how true that is, but it surely reminds me of the HTC Tytn II.
The HTC Xperia, errm I mean Sony Ericsson Xperia features a huge 3" touchscreen with a massive 480×800 pixels of resolution, which is WVGA (Wide VGA). With this kind of screen you would think that the imaging experience would be great, until you find out it only has 65k colours…I really don’t understand how do you expect users to appreciate a 3.2 megapixel camera images with so little colours.
Besides that, there is still HSDPA at 3.6mbps and WiFi, and it operates on Windows Mobile Professional 6.0 (Why not 6.1???), so I presume it’s a business orientated phone, although it would be make a great multimedia device.
Beneath the sliding section, there is a hidden QWERTY keyboard, although ever since I touched a Nokia N800, I preferred to type on touchscreens.
To join the league or extraordinary smartphones, the X1 comes with A-GPS and TrackID, which we find in many Walkman series phones.
