Broadcom, Motorola and Nokia Inversion Pattern
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 23, 2008 – 10:42 pm
[This is MH, not Meraj. MH is our financial expert, which had problems with his login]
I am making this post simply to refer that today we had a great “upper side” day on Wall Street technological stocks, including Broadcom, that moved more than 15%, with great results (unexpected by the analysts)
“The company posted net income of $74.3 million, or 14 cents a share, compared with profit of $61 million, or 10 cents a share, for the year-earlier period. Revenue was $1.03 billion, up from $901.5 million. The company said its first-quarter revenue included royalties of $35.6 million in connection with a patent licensing agreement.Analysts had expected the company to report earnings of 27 cents a share on revenue of $991.3 million, according to a survey by FactSet Research. For the current quarter, the company said it expects revenue of $1.075 billion to $1.125 billion.”

Motorola E10 leaks: touchscreen + music = ?
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 23, 2008 – 10:20 pmThe Motorola ROKR E8 had only 2GB internal memory but there was an interesting touch-sensitive keypad and a useful Navi-wheel, but it far from its rivals, and it only got officially released at the Mobile World Congress.
The E10, however has more possibility as it hasn’t been released, according to sources, there is a touchscreen, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, and 3G. This isn’t enough to win the mobile market, as enough internal memory would be necessary to even think of competing against the upcoming devices.

Server Tech Problems
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 23, 2008 – 10:20 pmIt is impressive. Yes, I haven’t seen anything like this before, a server having problems more than 20 times just in one month. Our server is Midphase and we signed up via ANHosting, we don’t have any complaint with their customer support service, because they now are our friends, we even know some of their names as we practically chat to them everyday, but the service is extremely bad, and I wouldn’t expect all these troubles when I joined the host (and obviously paid for it). I am sure, there isn’t one host that stays offline more than 5 hours out there in the market.
Anyway, they found the solution: hase.com/2008/04/23/ans22midphasecom-down/
I apologize to all of you, who visit our blog everyday.
