Motorola Q1 Earnings, Nokia’s Patterns and Apple
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 24, 2008 – 10:47 pm

Finally we had Motorola Results, that were worst than what I was thinking of, and with that Motorola will probably continue going to lower levels.
Let me resume the story and tell you what really happened and why Motorola stocks (NYSE:MOT) didn’t fall more than 3%. and why they can tomorrow fall more than that.

Linux spreading to phones like a virus
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 24, 2008 – 10:42 pm
Dual-boot phones and devices are something quite exciting, as users have more choice. Unfortunately manufacturers don’t enable this, and to figure out how to do it you will have to know some advanced programming.
Gladly, there are people who do it for us, but it doesn’t mean it becomes a piece of cake. An example of this is the recent porting of Google Android to the Nokia N810.

Developments on Nokia’s Music Stores
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 24, 2008 – 9:08 pm
In three days there has been a lot of positive progress for Nokia’s bet on the music world. Nokia has noticed that the future of mobile phones is surrounded by multimedia, and the only way to win markets was to join the trend. Nokia’s Ireland Music Store opened in the beginning of the month, while on the 21st of April, Nokia opened its store in Australia, and just yesterday, in France. More important than that, is Sony BMG’s alliance to the Comes with Music campaign.

N82, is it the N95’s reincarnated?
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 24, 2008 – 11:53 am
That’s what it looks like to me, well the box is of a different colour, but the accessories included are the same as I had in my N95’s box. The earphones are different and the audio controller is of reduced functionality, but at a first specifications’ glance, the N82 seems like a N95 in a different form factor. The question is, is the only improvement on the N82 the camera only?
