Damaged E90 display - terrible build
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 6, 2008 – 11:20 pm
When I heard the remarks about the E90’s terrible build that damages the display, I never thought it could be this bad.
Luckily Nokia will send me a new one tomorrow morning, but the following pictures shows you why you should not buy the current E90, but the second version. Somehow these horrible marks don’t make a difference to the display, the quality remains the same, so if you aren’t worried in appearance, owning one shouldn’t be a problem.

Google wants Verizon out
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 6, 2008 – 7:46 pmSeems like Google really wants those 700MHz it didn’t get. Google claims that FCC should drop Verizon’s right of bid as they will use it against the strict open access rules that FCC set.
According to the report, Verizon will force customers to either use devices that are bought from them on the 700MHz, while devices from other networks will not work on this 700MHz spectrum, that if I understand it correctly.
“Verizon believes it may force customers who want to access the open platform using a device not purchased from Verizon to go through ‘Door No. 1,’ while allowing customers who obtain their device from Verizon access through ‘Door No. 2.,’” Google writes. “[The] position would completely reverse the meaning of the rule such that the open access condition would apply to none of Verizon’s customers.”

Win a Psiloc Connect licence
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 6, 2008 – 7:14 pmI’m not giving away free licences, but Ricky at Symbian-Guru and Zach at Symbian in Motion are. It’s truly a great program if you have a lot of hotspots available around you as it saves your money by not using a 3G or GPRS connection in case it finds one.
You should sign up for one of the contests, but for now try the free trial, only for S60 phones.
