sony ericsson c905 8 megapixel camera Sony Ericsson C905 with 8 megapixel official

Nothing new here, we heard all the specifications from the rumours circulating the internet, but it's official: the 8.1 megapixel cameraphone Sony Ericsson Cybershot C905 is announced by the company a their 17th of June launch. I really wouldn't be surprised if now a manufacturer launched a phone with HD recording! The Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and HSDPA make sure the phone stays future-proof, although it would be preferable that it had a larger internal memory and a rich Operating System.

“The C905 Cyber-shot™ and S302 Snapshot have been developed to make us all better photographers! That means making it easier to take great shots and never missing that magic moment.” said Sven Totté, Head of Imaging Marketing at Sony Ericsson. “Although both have photography at their core, the phones are very distinct; the 8.1megapixel C905 is a viable alternative to a digital camera and the S302 is perfect for those who don’t want to miss a moment and like to send or Bluetooth™ their photos to their friends.”

Specifications and release date after the jump.

Looked at the whole market, even the new iphones and nothing seems to come close to this phone, I am able to Upgrade with O2 now and want this phone.

Someone tell me a release date…

    P.s – Q4 is not a date.

The only thing good about this phone is its camera, otherwise the N96, Touch Diamond, and even the iPhone are better.

Of course Q4 isn’t a date, but it gives you a clue that it should be released for Christmas

It’s going to take some time before it gets here, you should get a K850i for the meanwhile, as I see you are a fan of Cybershots. Just by the way, the K850i’s review is coming very soon ;)

No way. GPS and location tagging of your 8.1MP images. Not to mention the already built in camera for video phone calls. Beat that.
