In case you cannot wait for the Apple iPhone 3G, you can already get GPS on your current Apple iPhone. This involves the following products:

• iPhone GPS cable
• Holux M1000b module
• Software that interacts with Google Maps
• And of course, an iPhone. But, it has to be jailbroken

This commercial is just too much, I doubt any phone can take that much damage and work as good as it was working before it was hit.

The phone is built to Military standard 810F and can stand dust, shock and vibration resistance that will withstand drops and spills.

ElectricPig recorded a video demonstrating the main features of the Sony Ericsson C905 Cybershot. James Holland describes the device as tough and solid with a fast software, especially in image capture. According to ElectricPig, the C905 should here by October.

Not very likely, but that is what is stated in the specifications page. The 3.2″ display phone with QVGA resolution (240×320) apparently does play HDTV, but we do not know in what frequency it streams: it could be DVB-h or DVB-t, where the latter one has more quality.

The device weighs 132g, supports microSD memory card but has a mere 250kB of internal memory. It does have dual speakers and a poor 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture, as well as FM Radio. On connectivity terms, it will work in GSM 900 and 1800 bands, and it has Bluetooth.

At the CommunicAsia 2008, BlackBerry had a stand where it showed off their 8320, 8120, 8820 and the 8707. Mobile88 was at the event to report about the launches, and it managed to chat with BlackBerry’s representatives, who simply told the site that BlackBerry 9000 Bold should be available in Southeast Asia by the end of this year. In a press release, Research in Motion had announced the phone to be available this summer, which means Q2/Q3, but for Asia it seems to be a different story.
