Nokia N810 review – Operating System
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 13, 2008 – 11:41 pm
The Maemo Internet Tablet OS 2008 runs very smoothly and never crashed once while I used the device. The 400MHz CPU on the TI OMAP 2420 with 128MB RAM helped the N810 cope with all the functions that you would expect from it, without slowing down your productivity. The only exception to the rule was Flash content, although this could have been from the internet connection, but I seriously doubt it. In every other aspect, the N810 ran flawlessly.

Samsung 8 megapixel cameraphone with S60
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 13, 2008 – 12:33 am
It will be difficult to face off against the Sony Ericsson C905, and these leaks just excite the market. First was LG with the KC910 no-image leak, but now Samsung brings us something more believable, something that would throw competitors such as the N96 off the market. It doesn’t only have an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and xenon flash, GPS, WiFi, but also has 16GB of internal memory. That too topped off with the Symbian OS9.3 with S60 User Interface, Dolby 5.1 Surround, HSDPA, and a 2.8″ display, hopefully with a higher resolution than the N96’s one.
Unlike the G800, the i8510 doesn’t seem to have optical zoom. Manufacturers are failing to see that even though we have large megapixel cameraphones, we need more quality in them. The leaked phone isn’t even video recording orientated, as although it records at 120fps, the resolution is only QVGA (240×320 pixels)
The full list of specifications and more pictures after the break.
