HTC Touch Pro release date and price
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 17, 2008 – 1:07 pm
We have come to know the pricing of the Touch Pro in UK, atleast the planned price at devicewire. Unfortunately the pricing is removed from the website, but the expected availability date remains there, which is the 1st of September.
And for the price, it was set at 468.07 British Pounds, which translates into about US$930, which frankly isn’t very good as it’s calculated excluding VAT, even though it’s a high-end smartphone.
In terms of specifications, the HTC Touch Pro is regarded as a HTC Touch Diamond with a QWERTY hardware keyboard and a flash for the camera. The Touch Diamond has a 3.2 megapixel camera, Opera 9.5 web browser, navi-wheel, touchscreen, TouchFLO 3D User Interface, 256MB of RAM (in the latest ROM), VGA resolution (640×480 pixels), HSDPA at 7.2mbps, WiFi, built-in A-GPS, and Bluetooth.

It’s the price charged these series of phones. Very common with high-end Windows Mobile devices.

I doubt they’ll have “crediting” type of deals in the US. They’ll charge us hard one way or another.
August 6th, 2008 at 1:21 pm
So you don’t think it will be offered on contract?
August 7th, 2008 at 2:21 pm

now judging by the price of the diamond $500. I would say they wont translate the price and keep it about $500.
August 27th, 2008 at 10:25 pm

M.Husseins last blog post..Retorno Passivo VS Retorno Activo
August 28th, 2008 at 3:25 pm
HTC Touch Pro release date in Greece should be October the latest, the manufacturer doesn’t take long to release their phones after launch
August 29th, 2008 at 7:11 pm
On contract in the US is will be about $199 to $249. No less than that. It is replacing the Sprint mogul and Tilts. So it should be around those price points since the competition is at that same price point.
August 29th, 2008 at 10:57 pm
Is it considered expensive when compared to other price plans in the US?
