5 competitors of Apple iPhone 3G

If you really don’t want to get the iPhone 3G, either because you don’t like it, or you don’t want to fall into a hype, there is always hope for you. Well, there’s actually 5 hopes for you, if that’s English enough.
David LaGesse brings us the Samsung Instinct, LG Dare, HTC Touch Diamond, LG Vu, and Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. For some reason he left the Finnish giant out. Is it justified? Nokia doesn’t have any touchscreen device, but there’s always the E90 or the newbie E71.
On the Instinct, besides the US$100 per month web, calls, and SMS plan, LaGesse enjoys the 3″ touchscreen, and 3G, although he dislikes the lack of WiFi. With the LG Dare, the author talks about the high-end 3.2 megapixel camera, slow-motion video capture, and drawing pad. Once again he mentions the lack of WiFi, the slow-response 3″ touchscreen, and basic Email client. He simply loves the Touch Diamond, mentioning the slimness, and the GUI. Another LG is the Vu, and here the highlight is mobile TV, a 3″ touchscreen, but he doesn’t appreciate the tactile feedback. The Xperia X1 also gets some loved, but as it is not out, David isn’t able to mention the bad points of it.
Which one do you prefer? I believe the one I would go for between all of these is definitely the Touch Diamond, but that’s because I haven’t got my hands on the Xperia X1 yet.
