HTC Dream True Images revealed
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 31, 2008 – 2:28 am
Just in the day Neo Carlo Magno sends us some pictures of the camera, a Taiwanese forum leaks out true spy images of the upcoming HTC Dream G1 for the T-Mobile network.
From the first glances, the resolution of the large display seems quite nice, but the build isn’t attractive at all, I was expecting that HTC followed what it started with the HTC Touch Diamond. The sleek, glamorous details have gone and given way to the white plastic, but we’ll see what happens in the press pictures.
I can almost confirm the trackball, and you can be sure that the keyboard won’t be paradise to type with, there is too much wasted space.
After the break, there are images comparing the first Android device to the HTC Touch Diamond for T-Mobile, and Softbank device. Oh, and there’s a black version coming up soon as well!

Sony Ericsson K850i review - Conclusion & Pics
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 30, 2008 – 6:04 pm
The Sony Ericsson K850i’s behaviour was way above my expectations. It was the smartphone I needed, but the only thing missing unfortunately was the GPS, which nowadays everyone is used to. I don’t drive, but usually when I have to attend events, which do happen quite often, the GPS is extremely handy.
The small details on the K850i in terms of aesthetics are a huge advantage for the phone, as they are quite innovative, because they are different to every other phone.
Continue reading to find out our final verdict, as well as to appreciate ALL the review images.

Nokia “N97″ cloned based on patents
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 30, 2008 – 5:07 pm
The phone you see in the images is the CECT K898, a slider with a rotating camera module on top of it. For, it’s the ugliest phone I’ve ever seen in my life, and I have that opinion since I saw it first in Nokia’s patent sketch.
Very recently the Nokia N79 was cloned before its official announcement, which means that there might be a leaker inside Nokia which provides information to Chinese phone brands, so that they can release mobile phones based on Nokia’s drawings, before Nokia itself. This can be very serious.
Besides having a huge camera module on the top, the phone looks very heavy, and I know that isn’t English.
More pictures after the jump.

Alcatel’s DVB-SH to take over DVB-H?
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 30, 2008 – 1:41 am
Mobile TV hasn’t even been launched in most countries yet, and there’s already new technologies ready to take its place. DVB-H (Digital Video Broadcasting for Handhelds) was selected by the European Union as its official standard for Mobile TV.
At this year’s IFA in Berlin, Alcatel-Lucent has demonstrated a technology dubbed DVB-SH (Digital Video Broadcast – Satellite services to Handhelds), which contains MPE-iFEC (Multi-Protocol Encapsulation - inter-burst Forward Error Correction), a powerful error-correction coding that improves the quality of broadcast mobile TV reception in hybrid satellite and terrestrial networks.
The technology can be used in any frequency spectrum below 3GHz, including UHF, L band and S band, and in terrestrial, satellite or hybrid networks.
What this means for us is that we’ll have better TV quality if this technology is deployed. If you’re in Berlin, you should check out some of the modified Sagem MyMobileTV at the conference, which are being used to showcase the technology.
Press release after the jump.
