More 10% Profit at Nokia! Total=21%

Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 14, 2008 – 10:18 pm

money_nokia More 10% Profit at Nokia! Total=21%That’s it, I closed my trade at 25,60 this morning. I told you I wanted to see the reaction to the 50 Day Moving Average, and again we are seeing some support at this zone, 25,50 to 26,20, which means we might get out of the short trade. If you opened the short trade at 27,80 and closed today at 25,50 you really made more or less 10% profit.

At the moment, It is better to stay out from Nokia (NOK), trying to figure if the stocks will remain lower ofr if there might be a reaction, because, as you know Motorola (MOT) is now above 10$ and going higher. So the question is if Nokia will follow Motorola’s uptrend…

Right now I am out of this two stocks waiting for better oportunitties, but I remain doing little trades at MOT, trying to take some profits on the minor trend formation.

If we add this profit to the last one, we have right now more than 21% which is great!

In terms of fundamental analysis, the finance sector remains very very suspicious(…).

YaPhoneTube video sharing site is ready!

Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 14, 2008 – 1:53 am

yaphonetube-resized-300x221 YaPhoneTube video sharing site is ready!Just after YouTube caught fame, many more video sharing websites gained popularity, but the ones which were and are most looked for are the dedicated networks. YaPhoneTube is one of them, and it’s topic is obviously mobile phones.

The website runs on PHPMotion and just got ready for usage. We have been trialling it for some time now, and uploading videos so that we can embed them here at PhoneReport and at the Nokia N96 Blog. It’s now time for you to test it out, and let us know what you think it needs to add, and share your opinions with us.

We don’t only want videos of new phones and accessories, we want your views, we want to know what you think of your phone, even if it’s a 3310 (not that there’s anything wrong with it). No longer you will need a Vlog or a blog to post your views, we want your opinion on YaPhoneTube, which will be a global opinion sharing platform in this sense.

We are also planning on hosting a video lottery, where a user will upload a video talking about his own phone, and we will randomly choose a user, and send him an award. The awards can be memory cards, Bluetooth headsets, and even phones, but that is something for the near-future, not now. If you want to keep up with the updates, visit the YaPhoneTube Blog.

The videos maximum upload size is 100MB at unlimited resolution, and you can even download the FLV files from the website.

We are taking suggestions and we’ll endeavour to fix any error immediately. Sign up at YaPhoneTube and become part of a mobile phone dedicated video sharing website, and help our family grow!

Meraj’s (must have) N95 applications - Part 4

Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 14, 2008 – 1:35 am

n95-menu-screenshot-225x300 Merajs (must have) N95 applications - Part 4Remember my three previous posts on this subject? They were back in February! Just to remind you, here’s Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3. They were all written on PhoneReport v1.0.

Now I bring you the latest Part 4, although they are quite old S60 3rd applications, and I didn’t update them. What counts is that I use them. So here are the five applications that I will review today:

  • FlipSilent
  • Keylock
  • Taskman
  • Smartmovie
  • eBuddy

I will show you few screenshots of each, develop on them, and provide you with a download link, whenever possible. Not all are freeware, but if they’re here, they are usually worth the price (I don’t go around buying junk).
