Deadline for HTC upgrades to WM6 approaching

HTC has released an official statement where it advises consumers that the last day for their upgrades to Windows Mobile 6, is the 31st of October, 2008.
The HTC S621, HTC S620, HTC P4350, HTC P3300, HTC Advantage phones currently run on Windows Mobile 5 versions, while the second most recent version is Windows Mobile 6, which, besides new features, fixes bugs found on the old version.
The reason why HTC is removing the upgrade possibility is not explained, but what is not explained as well is the reason consumers haven't upgraded yet.
To check the version on your device go to Start > Settings > System tab > About.
