Today at Nokia World 08, Nokia announced the Nokia N97, the ultimate Nokia flagship. The N97 breaks the limits with a 3.5'' touch-screen and an attractive slide-out QWERTY keyboard, that actually works with a hinge, and not a conventional slide.
Running S60 5th Edition, the new device breaks all the limits, once again, Nokia managed to surprise and reaffirm themselves as the leading phone manufacturer in the world.

The N97 has a 5 Megapixel camera with Carl-Zeiss lens and Auto-Focus, with dual-flash and video flash. The device itself has a similar design to the Xperia from Sony-Ericsson, but the specifications make the X1 look old, the N97 offers much more than any other flagship from competitors. The phone includes a massive built-in memory of 32GB and it supports MicroSD cards up to 16GB, which means that the N97 can hold a total of 48GB of data.
The N97 renders web pages like a desktop computer, including FlashLite 3, 3.5G (HSDPA), Wi-Fi, plus a QWERTY keyboard, Nokia offers with the N97 the same browsing experience that you would have with your computer. Nokia also said there will be an American Version with 850/1900mHz 3G Band.
For those worried of weak batteries on previous flagships, they can be now amazed with the 1500mAh battery that the N97 has. The N97 will survive in stand-by mode for 400 Hours, when compared to the N96's 220 hours the N97 just wins by almost twice as much battery life.
The N97 has its shipping date schedualed the second quarter of 2009. The price is still unknown but a +- US$800 tag for such a marvel is not hard to imagine.

Hola Wolfgang Ludwig,
Saludos

I read somewhere in Nokia's site (mexico) they planned to release it in Mexico mid-april 2009. I hope it's true (no later than that :D, sooner is okay, of course). I cancelled my purchase of E71 (which I'm going to need for my experimentation) because I prefer of course to have E75.
I lost the link, sorry. Trust me.
Anyway, does it mean, Telcel will also offer E75 in mid-April (together with the launching of E75 in mexico)? I hope so….
