GLOBAL - The 12-megapixel Sony Ericsson flagship Idou has been spotted in a brand new silver colour, by Mobile-Cowboys.

The device, which runs on S60 5th edition, was demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress 2009, in February this year. There is no model number assigned to the phone, and specs may be subject to change.

The Idou is set to revolutionize the mobile high-end market, provided that it launches, or at least, becomes official before its rivals reach the markets.

This year, Nokia is betting on the Nokia N97, while Samsung has reinforced the Omnia line with the Omnia HD.

Sony Ericsson hasn't detailed the launch date of the Idou, but the source names June as the announcement month, and Q3 as the market launch period.
