CTIA Wireless 2010, LAS VEGAS, USA - HTC showed-off its first 4G phone for Sprint last week at CTIA Wireless 2010.

The smartphone has a full capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch. It is 1cm thin, with a 4.3” screen that is vibrant, crisp and clear.

The device has an 8 megapixel camera on the back, with a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video conferencing and self-portraits. It records 720p HD video, and sports a direct HDMI output for connection to similarly equipped devices.

It runs on the Google Android 2.1 operating system, and is driven by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

A microSD memory card slot is available for adding memory, and Wi-Fi is present  for connectivity.

It has great feature integration, pre-loaded with social media interfaces. The touchscreen is easy to type on, very responsive and fast. Full access to all things Android, so plenty of apps and games to keep the user entertained between e-mail messages and phone calls.

An available accessory is the portable charging case, something new and innovative from HTC. The case is slightly larger than the device, and it can be charged separately or with the phone installed. It carries a battery, which is used to charge the phone and protect it from environmental hazards, when not in use.
