TAOYUAN, Taiwan - A leaked roadmap describes smartphones HTC is planning to roll out in 2010, running on the Windows Mobile and Google Android platforms.
The devices have been organised in four categories: Design/Lifestyle, Social, Performance, and Productivity. These all feature a touchscreen, while some have QWERTY keyboards.
There will be three Windows Mobile and five Google Android smartphones in the first half of 2010, a move that shows HTC's preference on the open-source platform.
The HTC Legend could be the upgrade to the HTC Magic and HTC Hero. It has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, A-GPS, microSD memory card support, a 3.2" AMOLED touchscreen display, and is only 11.4mm in thickness. This is one of the handsets which will run on Android, with a Qualcomm MSM7227 processor at 600MHz. The leaked document states a release date of March on a T-Mobile network, most likely the North American one.

The phone features a 3.2" capacitive touchscreen display with 240x320 pixels in resolution, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, microSD memory card support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, A-GPS and HSPA connectivity.
