iphone app store 300x168 iPhone App Store has 522 applicationsThe Apple iPhone 3G has already been launched in countries such as New Zealand, and it's App Store has also opened. There are 522 applications available, of which 135 are free for download. The method to get to the App Store is to go through iTunes, but it seems that the link doesn't appear there, so we got the following tip:

There’s no link (that I’ve seen) to the App store, however, do a quick search for AIM, which we already know is a confirmed app. You’ll then see the AIM app, and after it is downloaded, you can click the “Get More Applications” button at the bottom right corner of the Applications section.
