LG has had a good feedback from the sales of the first Ice Cream phone, targeted at a younger, or feminine market. It has since, launched the sequel, the Ice Cream Phone 2, LG-LU1600, only available at Korean markets for the meanwhile.

The phone comes in a multitude of light colours, and features all sorts of LED lighting, such as hearts and smiling faces that light up when a call is received, totalling 26 different emotions. These lights are on the front panel, as the phone has a clamshell form-factor.

The LU1600 also supports EVDO Rev. A, and T-DMB for mobile TV. It is available at around 400 000 KRW, in three different colours: snow white, sky blue and peach pink colour.
