OVERLAND PARK, USA - The new LG LX610 Lotus 2 has been leaked with Sprint branding. The upgrade to the handset continues to be an awkwardly-shaped clamshell phone, but now with a touchscreen display.

The device is also coloured in a vivid red, and is said to support microSD memory cards.

The first LG Lotus featured a 2.4" internal display, a 2 megapixel camera, an internal QWERTY keybpard, Bluetooth, and microSD memory card support.

Launch of the new Lotus is scheduled for January, according to the source.
