LG Electronics today announced at a press conference at Consumer Electronics Show, currently under way in Las Vegas, that it will implement a noise reduction technology in its future handsets.
The technology, DSE, is currently used in similar form in Altec Lansing's Bluetooth headphones. The system uses a dual-microphone set-up, where one microphone captures a person's voice, while the other, captures background noises, recognizes them, and eliminates them.
Mobile phones with this technology will be released in the second half of 2009.
