BARCELONA, Spain - PhoneReport is in Barcelona this week in order to cover the GSMA Mobile World Congress.

Many announcements are expected from major names such as Acer, Alcatel, BlackBerry, Garmin-Asus, Gigabyte, HTC, Huawei, Hyundai Mobile, i-mate, LG, MediaTek, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Toshiba, ZTE, among others.

Few companies have already briefed journalists, while others were seen preparing venues for press conferences. Sony Ericsson has already announced the eight-megapixel high-end music phone W995, and the 12-megapixel high-end Cyber-shot Idou.

Samsung was seen preparing for the launch of the Omnia HD, Ultra Touch, Beat DJ, and Beat Disc. Nokia has already announced the 5630 XpressMusic, and is likely to announce the E75 and 5730 tomorrow.
