Ella Wong, from Meizu Technology Co., Ltd. has informed PhoneReport that the expected release date for the Meizu M8 is "November when we get it ready for the market," and not October as previously reported.
The Mini One was the mobile phone that was the closest in appearance to the Apple iPhone, it was known as the best "iClone" until the company modified the design slightly due to complications that surged from the clash with Apple, although no changes on the User Interface are reported.
Meizu hasn't been showing up at recent exhibitions such as the CeBit and CES, which is a sign of the struggle and embarassment from the company to get the device ready for the market, and it can only mean further delays. The company's stall had been raided at CeBit for copyright and patent infrigements.
The M8 is expected to have a ARM11 667MHz CPU, 3.32" 16600K colours 720x480 pixels of resolution Touchscreen TFT LCD screen, up to 16GB of internal memory, Windows CE 6.0 for Meizu M8, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus but no flash, a 1500 mAh Li-ion battery, playback support for AVI, MPEG-2, RM(VB), MPEG-4/H.263/H.264 at 30FPS, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM and SCDMA network support, DMB, and accelerometer (motion sensor).
