Well, that's what we've been hearing, that the launch is on the 25th of August, Monday. This Monday there was supposed to be a launch as well, but we don't know what happened to that one, it seems that the 8800 Carbon was the single device launched.

The Nokia N85 has already been handled by Mobile Phone Helpdesk, and they categorize it as something between the N82 and N95, and their opinion is the same as ours: it has nothing new to offer, and even though we haven't seen the official specifications yet, we don't have much doubt.

What we know already is that the phone has HSDPA, A-GPS, a 3.5mm jack, WLAN, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, and the price is expected to round 550 Euros w.s.o.t.

A marketing scheme from Nokia transmits the idea that the N85 and the 8800 Carbon will be launched at the same time, which coincides with the next week's announcement.
