Setting things straight, the electronics giant announced its first Android device - the Motorola Cliq during GigaOm’s Mobilize event in San Francisco last week.

Following up on its recent resurgence, the Illinois based manufacturer is releasing a budget device, and another mid-level device has also been spotted on the web.

Verizon Wireless and Motorola have announced the availability of the Motorola Entice W766, an entry-level mobile device for consumers in the US.

The flip phone is an update to the Motorola W755 with a larger external and internal display. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, microSD memory card support, and USB connectivity. The front of the phone will continue to offer touch-sensitive buttons for music control,  ringtone mute/vibrate, and Bluetooth on/off.

Standard Verizon Wireless services such as VZ Navigator(SM), Family Locator, Mobile Email, Mobile IM and Dashboard also feature on the device.

The flip phone can be purchased online from Verizon's webstore at US$39.99 after a US$50 rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.

A dualband GSM phone from Motorola has surfaced on the web, speculating rumors of it being released in China and other emerging markets. Leaked specifications include a 2.8" touchscreen display with a resolution of 240x320 pixels and 262k colors, 3D menus, a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, USB, and microSD memory card support.

Pricing and availability is not known yet.

Another China-bound phone is the Motorola E3300C, which, if the rumors are to be believed, will be the first handset with Wi-Fi capability in the dragon nation - which imposes strict regulations on handhelds with high speed internet connectivity.

The 3G device is widely rumored to be equipped with a 3.2" touchscreen display with WVGA resolution, touch-sensitive buttons beneath the display, a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash, accelerometer (motion sensor), GPS navigation, and handwriting recognition.
