The smartphone famous for having a Sirf Star III GPS chipset, announced back in May, is now available at shops.
The Zinc II runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, with a 500MHz Samsung processor, but only 64MB of RAM. In the connectivity area there is Quadband GSM, HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth.
The Zinc II has a microSD memory card slot, and a 1530mAh battery which is now the minimum in PDA smartphones. The phone weighs 185g, which is a bit too much comparing to upcoming slim and sleek competitors such as the HTC Touch Diamond, which weighs 110g.
The new MWg is priced at US$900, and in our opinion, as well as the source's opinion, it's quite overpriced.
