Well, actually I'm mexican, right now I live in Spain but I'm planning to come back there in 3 months and I really think that cell phone is what I need. So I hope when I get there it could be available. Thank you very much for your help Alex!

See you soon!

Hello Max,

I'm glad you liked the post. Mobile Millenium is a service that is already available and it is developed and run by Nokia, CCTI and Caltrans. If you want to participate in this program you need to register here (http://traffic.berkeley.edu/) and you need to have a phone with internet access and GPS chip.

If you were talking about the device in the picture, it is the N96 which isn't available in Mexico City yet. I talked to a KNokia representative in Mexico about two days ago and he told me that it is going to take a while for it to get to Mexico since thay are only getting a few units for review. You could buy it from amazon and the price is US$620.

If you have any doubts feel free to ask.

Nokia's RTTI is actually coming very slowly to countries, not everyone has Nokia phones with Maps 2.0. We perhaps need a joint venture between several manufacturers for accurate traffic information and advice.
