It seems that in Poland the Apple iPhone 3G isn't very popular, while in other countries, the stores have ran out of them.
A spokesperson for Orange in Poland has confessed, probably out of some frustration, that the people in the line are actually actors, and not real iPhone buyers:
[Orange] "have these fake queues at front of 20 stores around the country to drum up interest in the iPhone."
Either this is bluff, or maybe it came from a recently fired employee of the company. There are rumours that Apple might have been involved in this.
The cause of low interest from consumers is that there are hefty montly costs to be paid.
