Best Office Application: OfficeSuite v5.10

OfficeSuite is the only application to provide Microsoft Office support on S60 fifth-edition devices at the moment. With support for both Office 2003 and Office 2007 file formats, the application is a complete office application.

The application has two modes: view mode (for 203 and 2007 formats) and edit mode (for 2003 files). With support for DOC, RTF, TXT, XLS, XML, CSV, PPT and PPS files in edit mode, the application can handle almost every office file format.

OfficeSuite also supports English and six other European languages (English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Dutch), and offers dictionary features such as word auto-complete, underlining of misspelled words, etc.. Other supported features include embedding images, tables, hyperlinks for documents; charts and over 100 formulas in the spreadsheet; and different view modes (slide view, slide show and notes), along with  embedding images and charts for presenatations; most of the tasks that can be performed on a mobile device, have been provided.

As a dedicated YouTube client continues to elude S60 fifth-edition devices, a third-party client has come up with a solution for this platform.

vTap is a well-designed video search engine that also supports synchronisation with YouTube accounts. This means that users can now now directly upload videos from  their S60 v5 devices.

In addition to its use as a video search engine, vTap also indexes videos in different categories (TV shows, Music, Entertainment, etc.) allow users to browse through flash videos on the web.

vTap is not exactly designed for finger-touch browsing with its minute buttons. but its above-average video search capabilities and speed of search push it to the top three applications of the week.
