SEOUL, South Korea - The Samsung S7070 Diva is a touchscreen handset designed with women in mind, both in hardware and software terms.

The phone has a white housing with a pearly-white embossed back cover, and a diamond-shaped button to control navigation.

It runs on the TouchWIZ user interface with modified fonts and added widgets, such as a shopping list tool and the ability to customize the ring profile.

The device also has a 3.2 megapixel camera, triband GSM connectivity, a 2.8" touchscreen with 240x320 pixels in resolution, microSD memory card support, and Bluetooth.

The camera has a special "Lomo effect" feature which converts normal photos into high-contrast art pieces.

The handset measures 55x101x13mm and weighs 94g. Its 960mAh battery is said to provide up to 10 hours of talk time and 13 days of standby time.

Release date is scheduled for January 2010 in the Netherlands, Russia, Ukraine and other European countries; while Southeastern Asia and China should receive it later on.
