sony ericsson playnow arena 300x156 SEs PlayNow Arena features 1m songs no DRMDRM has been a disaster, it's all about flaws that render is useless. If you don't know already, DRM (Digital Rights Management) locks up a MP3 file to a certain number of devices. It's basically to stop you infringing copyrights on music.

Sony Ericsson's PlayNow Arena didn't feature a lot of content, but now that the manufacturer signed with major record labels such as EMI, Sony BMG, Warner Music, the Arena will feature 1 million songs, starting from Monday, and will go up to 5 million.

The price for each track should be US$1.43, which is above Apple iTunes US$0.99 pricing.

The offer will only be available for Norway, but should extend to other European countries soon, just like Nokia's Music Store.
