The rankings aren't much of a surprise but the numbers are. The total smartphone sales surpass 32m for the first quarter of this year, which means there is a 29,3% growth in sales from the past year's 24,9m. Nokia tops the sales with 45,2% at 14,6m, followed by "Others" with 9,2% at almost 9m sales (I believe HTC, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, i-Mate will be included in this category). In third place, an impressive achievement from Apple themselves, with their only phone and smartphone, Apple iPhone with 1.7m sales and 5,3% of the total sales. And this is just Q1!
