Sony Ericsson is allegedly preparing three Cyber-shot phones for the market, codenamed Kate, Fillipa, and Frances. It is known that Kate will be named C510, which can be seen at the left.
Specifications leaked show that all of the phones will bring Cyber-Shot UI 2.0, Smile Shutter technology, active lens cover, Face detection, BestPic, and Photo fix. Both the C510 and Filippa will have a 2.2" display with QVGA resolution (240x320), and M2 memory card support. The C510 will have a 120MB of internal memory, and feature a 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, while Filippa will bring 140MB of internal memory, alongside a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash.
Frances, in its exclusivity will incorporate A-GPS, and a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash.
Sony Ericsson will keep on releasing mid-end mobile phones to feed its successful Cyber-shot portfolio, while more high-end camera phones should be seen in the middle of 2009.
