The Sony Ericsson Remi is new device with the blended characteristics of both the infamous T610 and the W890, but it's not a Walkman phone. Our source says that it's a T610 remake, perhaps it's because it's focused on substituting the T610 and heading to the same market. It has the W890's hardware characteristics: it might have around 10mm thickness and 4.7cm. The body will be made out of aluminum. The Remi runs on the A2 platform, has HSDPA, and a 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus. Unfortunately our Sony Ericsson release date list doesn't give us a date for the device, but our source says that it won't be too long before they announce it, and according to Esato forums, on the 22nd of July, this month, there will be an announcement.

Sony Ericsson needs to be battling the NSeries so the Remi will be a upper mid-tier device. The specifications don't sound very good for an upper mid-tier, so an addition should be made to the specifications.
