Quite a scary title, we can all remember what the closing down of WorldCom brought to the US economy, as well as to the telecommunications industry.
According to our source, Sprint plans to sell Nextel, and that apparently is supported by the decrease in all prices. I think this is rubbish, decrease in prices means the company is improving, not the contrary...I might be wrong.
Any large company wouldn't just go down and close by themselves, they would try sell shares, or even be bought by a larger company. There are such rumours, that Deutsche Telecom is willing to take over Sprint.
None of these rumours are backed, so expect little fuss about it.
