It might be too good to be true, but in fact, the G1 might already be an old deal for T-Mobile, HTC, and Google, therefore, the companies started working on the G2. Only specifications are available, and a mock-up shot. Rumours are said to be "not-confirmed", so we cannot actually qualify it as a strong potentiality.
The G2 is said to be in a touchscreen-only form factor, and like many competitors, have four buttons. The trackball is going to stay. A 5 megapixel camera will be the upgrade to the current 3.2, while an additional VGA will be included, for 3G video calls.
Stereo Bluetooth will be built-in, and the device will be compatible with T-Zones and myFaves. Already existing features are Wi-Fi, and of course, the Google Android operating system. The release date is set to be the 26th January, 2009, although there are contradictory statements from different sources.
It is difficult to comment on such vague rumours, but it is not hard to image a second HTC Android-based phone. Design will be an issue, following the not-so popular look of the current device. HTC will have to broaden its market in order to succeed with more sales, and not continue restricting the international market.

so when is it really coming out, cause i have not seen the phone on the tmobile website yet…
I got the g1 since it came out and i like it but now that ive seen the g2, im craxy about it i want it..but other websites that the g2 will not be coming the end of january nor this year. so whats the real answer here

HEY! every body this is not the new G2 believe because i am getting one on July 6, 2009 when they come out so whoever put this out that this is the new G2 i dont believe it. Go to Google.com and they will show you the real G2. Plus ever body cant get the t-mobile G2 because you have to have you service for about a year then you can get it.
