Asus Eee Pc mini-notebook to have 3G or WiMAX

On the other day I had one these Eee Pc are home, my client wanted a battery for it. They are quite small, smaller than my main computer - a 12″ touchscreen’d HP TX1350. The Asus Eee PC has a 7″ display, 900MHz CPU, 512MB RAM, 2GB hard drive, WiFi, and runs on Linux Operating System. Basically, it’s a phone in a notebook form, and the reason I say this is the low specifications. There is still a integrated webcam and microphone, speakers, and a card reader. Most importantly, it’s light as a feather
The main news here is that the Eee PC might feature 3G connectivity in a future version, which will be announced somewhere in September. The 3G will come in the form of HSDPA/HSUPA and there should be a WiMAX version. If it is announced on September, it should hit the shelves in time for Christimas shopping. I’d say it’s a nice buy, especially if you need a notebook 24/7 with the full power of your phone, although the battery, which is one of the most important factors, won’t be very promising, atleast that’s my experience with notebooks, and that’s what I’ve heard about the Eee PC.
