BlackBerry has serious leakage problem, one of those that not even a plumber can fix. This time it's the BlackBerry Javelin, Bold's small brother which appears on eBay. Notice how there's no review, videos, or anything such, but only someone trying to make quick bucks out of it.

The pictures are very clear indeed, and the deals seems very genuine as well. The Javelin is much more attractive than the Bold, as it's much smaller as well, but it should lack in features such as 3G. What you do get is a smartphone that runs on a 512MHz processor, has microSD memory card support, 480x360 pixels of resolution, and a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Finally we have a comparison of RIM's most awaited smartphones, except Thunder or Storm. The BlackBerry Bold, which is already available, has been compared to the BlackBerry Javelin, which there is little information but we can see that it's a tiny phone, as well as to BlackBerry 8220 Pearl, which has been leaked over and over again, and was supposed to be called the Kickstart, and as you ca see, it's freaking huge!

The Javelin is rumoured not to have 3G and slightly slower processor than the Bold. The packet of cigarrets might help you do the comparison.

BlackBerry has been consistently leaking prototype images, everything from this week's 9100 kickstart clamshell to the BlackBerry 9000 Bold. They surely need attention due to the recent releases by Apple (iPhone 3G), Nokia (E71), and HTC (Touch Diamond).

Oh, and according to the source, it should be released by mid-2009, that's Q2 or Q3 of 2009, still far away...
