BlackBerry Storm launched in Italy
Written by Meraj Chhaya on October 3, 2008 – 11:23 pm
Vodafone has demonstrated in a presentation, which seemed more of a launch party, the new BlackBerry Storm, which unfortunately for some odd reason, isn't officially released, as in a press announcement. The Storm has been one of the most leaked devices of the manufacturer, especially as it's the first touchscreen device from RIM.
The 9500 will feature a 3.3” touchscreen with 360×480 pixels of resolution, Tri-band HSDPA, Quad-band GSM connectivity, built-in A-GPS, microSD memory card support, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, and will run on BlackBerry OS with 624 MHz CPU speed and 192MB of RAM to power it.

BlackBerry Thunder, HTC Touch Pro on video
Written by Meraj Chhaya on September 10, 2008 – 10:36 pm
On this video, not even the presenter is sure of what the phone is called, that large is the confusion. The BlackBerry Storm, Thunder or Thunderstorm has been leaked in a presentation video by a so-called ninja. The HTC Touch Pro and an LG are also included on the video.
We get valuable information from this good-quality-video, especially on how the Blackberry 9530's touchscreen will work, which will be a large button, so much for localized haptic feedback...
The interface and controls need polishing on the BlackBerry's side, but the presenter also spoke about the Touch Pro, which he didn't like. The phone does look quite thick, although after the charming Touch Diamond, we expect something of this category on the Touch Pro.
