Samsung i450 review – Connectivity
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 4, 2008 – 4:22 pm
Coming to an end of our Samsung i450 review, so read on, and stay tuned for the next parts!
The phone possesses HSDPA at 3.6mbps, as well as EDGE and GPRS, but no HSCSD. At this point in time most phones need to have HSDPA, and the i450 is a phone that needs to be future-proof in order to be attractive. Video calls and fast internet are therefore very important.
There is Bluetooth v2.0 but no Infrared. I don't need to discuss anything about Bluetooth as it's a requirement in all phones today, and Infrared would just occupy unnecessary space as it's becoming useless. The Samsung port, featured on the above image, allows USB v2.0 connections, instead of including a miniUSB or microUSB port.
