LG has finally issued a press release regarding the LG KC910, the successor to the Viewty. The KC910's highlight is that it's the first 3” full-touchscreen mobile phone with an 8 megapixel camera.
The KC910's camera has Schneider-Kreuznach certified optics, Xenon flash, and ISO sensitivity up to 1600, just like the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot and Samsung INNOV8 i8510, both with 8 megapixel cameras. Additionally, the camera has image stabilization, auto-focus, manual focus, Face Tracking, Smile Shot and blink detection.
The Viewty's successor includes GPS navigations, while allows geo-tagging as well. There is an application that enables you to track your workouts, similar to Nokia Sports Tracker, it's called Jogging Buddy.
The phone is also the first mobile phone in the market to include Dolby Mobile audio technology, which provides great quality sound with powerful bass.
The device allows you to customize the User Interface with widgets and shortcuts, but the software platform chosen is not that of a complex smartphone. The KC910 features WiFi, HSDPA at 7.2mbps, and Bluetooth.
Press release after the jump.
