Motorola touched 8,87$ with Q2 Profits
Written by M. Hussein on July 31, 2008 – 2:45 pm
Motorola reported today nice and surprising 2Q profits, above the expectatives. The home-entertainment, public safety units and the wireless-phone division explains the gains. In the second quarter, Motorola reported net income of $4 million, or break even per share, up from a year-earlier loss of $28 million, or 1 cent a share. These aren’t great profits but what matters it the fact of those being above the analysts predictions.

LG announces DVB-T phone HB620T
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 14, 2008 – 3:19 pmDVB-h is a technology which is still being implemented across many countries and is only available in very few. DVB-T is a different story and is becoming a standard in many countries for TV transmission, and this is where LG can profit.

LG phone design competition - 10G up for grabs
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 21, 2008 – 3:57 pmNokia had come up with such a competition just when 3G phones started to appear, and some of the designs might have given birth to few of the NSeries that we know today. The same can happen with LG, a talented and creative designer can picture a phone or submit a phone he’s dreaming all his life to LG, and a year later, see it in real life.

LG Touch Web Phone coming soon?
Written by Meraj Chhaya on March 20, 2008 – 8:57 pm
If Nokia doesn’t release phones with decent resolution, it doesn’t mean that LG can’t.
The LH2300 Touch Web only seems to be available to Korea and other parts on Asia, I say this because it features T-DMB, and not DVB-h which was standardised by the European Union.
The phone also boasts 3G connectiviy, and of course the best part of it: 800×480 resolution for a touchscreen. There is a 3 megapixel camera with an obvious autofocus, anti-shake, and face recognition.
To finish, there is Bluetooth v2.0, hopefully with A2DP, and a microSD slot.
