More 10% Profit at Nokia! Total=21%
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 14, 2008 – 10:18 pm
That’s it, I closed my trade at 25,60 this morning. I told you I wanted to see the reaction to the 50 Day Moving Average, and again we are seeing some support at this zone, 25,50 to 26,20, which means we might get out of the short trade. If you opened the short trade at 27,80 and closed today at 25,50 you really made more or less 10% profit.
At the moment, It is better to stay out from Nokia (NOK), trying to figure if the stocks will remain lower ofr if there might be a reaction, because, as you know Motorola (MOT) is now above 10$ and going higher. So the question is if Nokia will follow Motorola’s uptrend…
Right now I am out of this two stocks waiting for better oportunitties, but I remain doing little trades at MOT, trying to take some profits on the minor trend formation.
If we add this profit to the last one, we have right now more than 21% which is great!
In terms of fundamental analysis, the finance sector remains very very suspicious(…).

Run Moto Run with Sanjay Jha!!! (MOT:NYSE)
Written by M. Hussein on August 4, 2008 – 11:07 pm
As we know, from the news Meraj published some months ago, Motorola will split the company into two new. The new thing right now is that we are having some advances in this “spin off” which is making moving higher MOT stocks.
In the past months investors were concerned about these splitting propose, so then, the stocks went lower. Now, many of them might be seeing an opportunity for a rally of the stocks, because most of splits are preceded by a rally (not in a bear market, but that’s fine). Also, results were above expectancies.
Today, we also saw a new gap, leading the stocks trough a new high, very close to 10$ a share, while
Motorola reported that Sanjay Jha, actual Qualcomm’s former operations chief, will become co-chief executive officer with Greg Brown. Jha will run the handset unit, which accounts for 41 percent of revenue and hasn’t had a hit since the best-selling Razr, introduced in 2004. He will have a difficult job, but certainly he will be paid enough to rise revenue and profits.
The market loved the news today, and they gap higher. Tomorrow we will find if MOT can surpass the resistance at 10$.
I am attaching a chart showing my day trading with MOT today. The chart is a “1 minute” one. Nice profits overall at MOT. In fact, the money I made with MOT I lost with other trade
That’s life, that’s the market!
Here is a nice post about the big flood of searches on Google with the name “Sanjay Jha”. All of them found a Sanjay Jha….
PS: The Nokia trade remains open!

Motorola touched 8,87$ with Q2 Profits
Written by M. Hussein on July 31, 2008 – 2:45 pm
Motorola reported today nice and surprising 2Q profits, above the expectatives. The home-entertainment, public safety units and the wireless-phone division explains the gains. In the second quarter, Motorola reported net income of $4 million, or break even per share, up from a year-earlier loss of $28 million, or 1 cent a share. These aren’t great profits but what matters it the fact of those being above the analysts predictions.

More than 11% profit with Nokia
Written by M. Hussein on July 19, 2008 – 6:30 pm
Few days ago, on 15th and 16th June I wrote a post giving you a buy signal at Nokia (NYSE). In the next day the shares spiked up 8,67%, a very nice gain with those 2Q results above the expectatives.
According to that, yesterday my system gave a buy signal to Nokia, off course it is based on a money management way to take profits and cover the other positions. If you are an aggressive investor, you should close the other trade at Nokia and open a long trade - 24,70 is a good price
This was what I said on the last post.
If you really bought Nokia at 24,70, you are making 11,38%, which is truly more than what the annual fix deposit gives us.
The next thing you have to do is to increase your stop loss to a value below the 50 day Moving Average, something between 26,50 and 25,78. Anyway, you made profit!!!
Motorola (NYSE) shares are also up, but I would only buy them above 7,70!

Motorola ZN200 leaks on FCC
Written by Meraj Chhaya on June 14, 2008 – 1:07 amWe just posted about the Motorola ZN5, and now another one of the same series: the Motorola ZN200. Nothing really special about this slider, but it is to note that the ZN series isn’t the imaging series. The ZN200 has a 2 megapixel camera, which makes Staska from Unwired View to believe that the first digit in the models is the actual capture resolution by megapixel. Specs after the jump.
