MWEB launches VoIP via VSAT for Africa
Written by Meraj Chhaya on August 12, 2008 – 2:06 am
Africa has a low internet connection reach, and most connections aren't broadband. Offering VoIP options over VSAT isn't only more affordable, but also helpful for residents who are not covered by landlines or wireless connection coverages.
Voice calls to other MWeb Africa VoIP customers using MWeb Africa's VSAT service will be free of charge, and the service is currently available in 14 countries.
The press release is available after the jump.
