N82 vs N95 vs N81 8GB camera shots
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 19, 2008 – 9:06 pm
Coincidence or not, I had both the N81 8GB and N82 for trial on my holidays, at the same time. I also own a Nokia N95, so the best thing I could do is take a comparison on their image captures. I tested only few and likely scenarios.

Sportstracker with N82
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 5, 2008 – 9:55 am
This is rather strange. I’m having problems uploading my trackings to Google Maps and Nokia SportsTracker Online Beta. In Google Earth everything seems fine but it doesn’t show at an extended zoom out, so I rather use the previous two services to showcase my journey.
It’s definitely a good example of what the N82 can do and how you can share your adventures with your friends and everyone else. There is a great deal of support from Nokia, and recently a new widget for Facebook and Blogger has been released, but I use Wordpress so I can’t use it for the meanwhile.
I’m posting the HTML provided by Google Maps, and a screenshot from Nokia SportsTracker Online Beta.
Here’s the link to the SportsTracker map: link

I’m back!
Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 5, 2008 – 8:48 am
Nice holidays I had, but tiring as usual, as I mixed testing phones with relaxing. But that’s what I like, to keep myself occupied. Lot to write, little time, but here’s a snippet:
Driving was tiring as there were always animals on the way, especially red-eyed cows (I didn’t want to remove the red-eye, looks interesting):

N82, is it the N95’s reincarnated?
Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 24, 2008 – 11:53 am
That’s what it looks like to me, well the box is of a different colour, but the accessories included are the same as I had in my N95’s box. The earphones are different and the audio controller is of reduced functionality, but at a first specifications’ glance, the N82 seems like a N95 in a different form factor. The question is, is the only improvement on the N82 the camera only?

N82 in Black makes its (secret) debut
Written by Meraj Chhaya on February 28, 2008 – 3:53 pmNot much fuss has been created by Nokia about this black diamond. I feel like we call every black smartphone a black diamond, but anyway…
The black N82 was leaked some time ago on some other Nokia official website, and I believe you will be able to get it as soon as next month. My source implied 2nd of April, but I can’t believe it will be that late. Unfortunately I haven’t found any black original housing for the N82 from my suppliers, and there is no tip or information on its release.
The pictures were provided by Maevro from Howard Forums, and according to him, there will be more of these soon.
