5320, N96, N78 added to NGage compatibility list

newngagemygames-225x300 5320, N96, N78 added to NGage compatibility listInstead of the previously announced Nokia N73, N93, and N93i addition to NGage application support, it’s these three upcoming mobile phones that are added to the compatibility and support list of Nokia’s gaming platform. It is no news that N96 and N78 are part of this league, but 5320, being an XpressMusic device, surprises me.

NGage to lock games to IMEI, and not user!

Written by Meraj Chhaya on May 21, 2008 – 7:51 pm

newngagemygames NGage to lock games to IMEI, and not user!I was scrolling through my feeds, and I must have skipped AAS, as Ricky Cadden, the Guru from Symbian Guru told me that Nokia is locking NGage games to IMEI.

What this means is that once you buy a game for your phone, it stays ON THAT PHONE, which means that if you change phones, you cannot do anything to get it back, doesn’t work with actual licences or anything, it’s simply locked to the phone, pretty much what happens to the Nokia Maps licences, although you can transfer the IMEI if you request it.

All I ask is that you help to create some attention to Nokia, as one day, you will need this. So, NSeries or “NGagers”, pop in at the NGage forum thread, and post your views.

Tzer2 was the one who wrote the original article regarding this matter, so please read the post at All About NGage and get another idea of what is happening regarding NGage lock-to-IMEI issue.

Real-life Snake: 1000 people play in Nokia’s ad

Written by Meraj Chhaya on April 15, 2008 – 2:03 pm

Need to say more? Looks like the advert was filmed in Portugal, if someone can tell me where and give me more information I’ll be grateful.

The Get Out and Play campaign from Nokia made this advert with 1000 real people acting as the Snake. The advert seems short, but spectacular. It could be used to advertise NGage on TV or simply Nokia and its phones’ gaming capacity.

Download it in HD (960×540 resolution 37 MB file)
