iPhone 3G to come with potatoes
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 1, 2008 – 3:43 pm
Nokia and Sony Ericsson went green already, and Apple didn’t want to be left behind, so they contracted PaperFoam to make iPhone 3G boxes with potato starch paper trays. The trays will be fully recyclable and and 90% less carbon footprint than plastic.

Apple has already been criticized by Greenpeace for using BFRS and PVCs in their products. Contracting PaperFoam is one step closer to protecting the earth, next move is to make the iPhones themselves environment-friendly.
