More live pictures on Sony Ericsson Remi
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 21, 2008 – 5:40 pm
We haven’t gotten the name of the so-called T610 successor, but we do have few more pictures, which show the 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, the flat back cover, and close-up on those squarish buttons.
We already know the specifications, and have a clue about the size. We also know that Remi will have HSDPA and will run on the A2 platform.
We are expecting to hear an announcement tomorrow, where more Walkman devices should be revealed officially.
More pictures after the break.

Sony Ericsson Remi leaked
Written by Meraj Chhaya on July 5, 2008 – 6:28 pm
The Sony Ericsson Remi is new device with the blended characteristics of both the infamous T610 and the W890, but it’s not a Walkman phone. Our source says that it’s a T610 remake, perhaps it’s because it’s focused on substituting the T610 and heading to the same market. It has the W890’s hardware characteristics: it might have around 10mm thickness and 4.7cm. The body will be made out of aluminum. The Remi runs on the A2 platform, has HSDPA, and a 3.2 megapixel camera with fixed focus. Unfortunately our Sony Ericsson release date list doesn’t give us a date for the device, but our source says that it won’t be too long before they announce it, and according to Esato forums, on the 22nd of July, this month, there will be an announcement.
Sony Ericsson needs to be battling the NSeries so the Remi will be a upper mid-tier device. The specifications don’t sound very good for an upper mid-tier, so an addition should be made to the specifications. The pricetag will reveal more detail and we will have another improved opinion about the device. Second lateral perspective image after the jump.
