sony-ericsson-c905-fcc-300x224 FCC approves Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shotJust like myself, are you also impatiently awaiting for a high-end several-megapixel packed phone from Sony Ericsson? Well, if yes, then I’ve got a succulent news for you to gnaw on for the time being: the Sony Ericsson C905 Cyber-shot has been approved by FCC.

Although the C905 Cyber-shot is nothing to snort at, it’s its monstrous 8.1 megapixel camera with autofocus, digital image stabilization, face detection, red-eye reduction and a Xenon flash that makes it a big hit. A built-in GPS receiver automatically geotags your photos, and the TV-Out functionality allows you to easily share photos on any compatible TV.

Other features include 2.4” scratch-resistant mineral glass display, quad Band GSM, tri-band HSDPA, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Check out the FCC documents and user manual here.

Nothing new here, we heard all the specifications from the rumours circulating the internet, but it’s official: the 8.1 megapixel cameraphone Sony Ericsson Cybershot C905 is announced by the company a their 17th of June launch. I really wouldn’t be surprised if now a manufacturer launched a phone with HD recording! The Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and HSDPA make sure the phone stays future-proof, although it would be preferable that it had a larger internal memory and a rich Operating System.

“The C905 Cyber-shot™ and S302 Snapshot have been developed to make us all better photographers! That means making it easier to take great shots and never missing that magic moment.” said Sven Totté, Head of Imaging Marketing at Sony Ericsson. “Although both have photography at their core, the phones are very distinct; the 8.1megapixel C905 is a viable alternative to a digital camera and the S302 is perfect for those who don’t want to miss a moment and like to send or Bluetooth™ their photos to their friends.”

Specifications and release date after the jump.

What sounds like a phone that might take them all down, might turn out to be just that. Camera resolutions seem to be important for some reason, and the only reason I include them in my title when it’s appropriate is because it’s one of the best features in that particular phone. This device belongs to the Cybershot series, and mentioning details about the camera should be more than appropriate. The camera is bundled with a xenon flash, while the rest of the features to mention are A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and HSDPA.

Specifications, image samples and a video after the jump.
