The F305, Sony Ericsson’s dedicated gaming phone is reviewed by Crave. They don’t seem very convinced with the phone and have many criticisms towards the phone in general, where they consider the phone slippery, which doesn’t give a good grip. Only one game was tested at the event, as the others weren’t available. Motion gaming needed some force for functioning, and that was made into one more disadvantage.

Crave enjoyed the dual speakers in the back, although didn’t appreciate the tiny 2″ display.

The F305 leak is now confirmed. The device will actually feature a motion sensor for gaming purposes, which we know better as an accelerometer. Besides that, it will allow you to change the look of your phone, with Style-up™ covers. Two of these come in the box. The battery pack we spoke about will only be available in Q4 this year.

“Gaming is no longer something you do on your own. It’s about having fun with your friends and interacting with the game” says Sven Totté, Head of Product Marketing at Sony Ericsson. “We have used motion sensor technology before in our phones and integrating it into gameplay is a natural progression.”

Very recently we spoke about the Sony Ericsson F305 dedicated to gaming, which is supposedly going to be announced on Tuesday, the Sony Ericsson 17th of June release date.

The above picture is an-almost accurate Photoshop of the upcoming Sony Ericsson F305. The F-series might be dedicated to gaming, and the above device will the first of its kind for Sony Ericsson. What we would expect from such a phone is a high resolution display, 3D hardware accelerator, gaming controls, a fast processor, a lot of RAM, and an advanced Operating System.
