LISBON, Portugal - TMN, the largest network operator in Portugal, has launched its first branded handset to the market - an affordable smartphone with high-end features, running on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
The TMN Bluebelt is to be sold at EUR 199 (US$263.76), which TMN claims to be an "unbeatable price".
The Bluebelt comes with 2.36" touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, HSDPA connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. The phone is powered by a 528Mhz CPU, and has 1GB of RAM (100MB available for the user).
The device also has 2GB of flash memory, and support for microSD memory cards.
The phone can be considered office-ready, packing a document viewer and editor; NDrive GPS navigation licence, with free traffic information; and real-time email.
